Realtist are Out in These Streets!
In May we had a Representative from Suzie Lee's office speak at the Monthly Membership Breakfast and we joined with many other real estate organizations to have a really fun field day.
We also doubled down on Fair Housing as an organization. Fair housing isn't just a policy—it's a promise. And for members of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), it's a legacy rooted in advocacy, equity, and action. That legacy continues to thrive in Nevada, where five members of NAREB: Black Realtist of Southern Nevada have been appointed to the Silver State Fair Housing Council’s newly announced Board of Trustees and Advisory Board announced this month. That’s 25% of the organization’s leadership, representing a powerful and intentional step forward in advancing housing equity statewide.
This milestone includes two past presidents of the Nevada NAREB chapter, whose leadership helped shape the chapter’s deep commitment to promoting Democracy in Housing. Their presence on these boards ensures the Fair Housing conversation is not only inclusive but deeply informed by those with lived experience, industry insight, and a tireless commitment to justice. Thank you for your continued leadership, Mosi and Lisa!
