Realtist are Out in These Streets!

On June 7th, we joined forces with Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHSSN) for their 2nd Annual Housing Resource Fair. Held on-site at Mater Academy, the event brought together housing advocates, lenders, numerous community agencies, and hundreds of first-time buyers for a day of education and empowerment. NAREB was proud to serve as a featured participant, providing free homeownership resources and flyers promoting our upcoming First-Time Homebuyer Workshop on August 30th—our second such workshop this year. Our team of REALTISTS connected with attendees one-on-one, helping them better understand the path to homeownership and how to build generational wealth.
On June 21st, we proudly exhibited at the Juneteenth Celebration at World Market Center—one of the largest commemorative events in Southern Nevada. More than just a celebration, Juneteenth allowed us to engage with over 500 community members in a vibrant, family-friendly environment. Our booth featured educational tools, real estate market statistics, NAREB brochures, flyers for the August 30th First-Time Homebuyer Workshop, and contact forms for those seeking homeownership support. Our enthusiastic volunteers fielded questions, shared insights, and encouraged participants to get involved in future workshops and events.
These two events were more than outreach—they were powerful reminders of why this work matters. Every conversation, every flyer, and every new connection brings us closer to expanding homeownership opportunities for Black families in Nevada.
We remain committed to educating, engaging, and empowering our community—because housing justice is community justice.
Together, we are promoting Democracy in Housing—one connection, one conversation, and one commitment at a time.
